1970s Decade of Protest exhibition in Manawatu

A second exhibition of the 1970s Protest PhotosNZ “Where were you in ’72”   was held in Palmerston North at the Square Edge Community Arts Centre from 1-26 May 2024.

The original exhibition was enlarged by an additional thirty-three photographs, taken by Manawatū Standard photographers of 1970s protests in the Manawatū area primarily in Palmerston North. Some of these are in new categories of Human Rights and Student Action.
